Site Review: Sugar Daddie
“Where the classy, attractive and affluent can meet.”
Money, good looks, and success are the main themes of this matchmaking site. Hopefully you are able to ascertain the mail goal of this site from its name. In fact, I’m going to assume as much and not explain it.
I always like it when matchmaking sites are straightforward and low in B.S., even if their goal might offend some people. Being clear and completely unashamed, to me, is an attractive selling point. Sugardaddie.com, however, uses a lot of roundabout wording in order to make their website seem, perhaps, a little more universally appealing. Sure, the fact that they get wealthy people arm candy might rub some high and mighty people the wrong way, but they really need to take an “out and proud” stance on exactly they help their members achieve. Under the “Sugar Daddy Defined” page, there is a simple sentence that slightly alludes to the site’s purpose, but it’s still vague.
“…success is a trait of attraction that in some cases far exceeds the traditional stereotypes.” What the hell, right? Yeah, I’m with you.
Signing up for this site is pretty typical, it only takes a couple of minutes. It should be noted, however, that this is a 21+ site. So you 18 year-old girls out there, you’ve got to wait a bit before you can bag your sugar daddy…at least on this site.
Sugardaddie.com has been around since 2002 and in this industry that is a fairly established site. The only downside to that is that this looks like the original site and design as in 2002. It looks old. For a site that potentially deals with upper class clients, they need to step it up.
If you want to interact with other members, you pretty much have to become a Premium Member. The standard free membership is extremely restrictive. Look up, there’s a bright side. Not only is the Premium Membership NOT crazy expensive, but the site also turns its nose up at automatic payment renewals.
“People stay with us because they want to, not because they couldn’t figure out how to shut off the recurring billing.” I like that. I like that a lot.
Pricing breaks down as follows:
-1 Month is $19.99
-2 Months are $29.99
-3 Months are $39.99
-6 Months are $69.99
-12 Months are $99.99
Of course, my usual gripe is that one must become a member of the site in order to gain access to pricing information, but everybody does it nowadays. I hate that. Those prices aren’t bad, though. They are actually very comparable to some of the other top matchmaking sites out there.
Knowing what this site aims to do and that it is well established with an established member-base, it would not be unwise to start with this site if you are the type person who would benefit from the type of relationship dangled before you. So you hunky men with money and sexy slinky women seeking security out there now have a place to start. Give it a go.
